Top 4-Why Iceland aims to ban online porn
Iceland is looking to ban online porn. Interior Minister Ögmundur Jónasson is drafting legislation to block the European island's access to pornographic websites on computers, smartphones and videogame consoles. "We have to be able to discuss a ban on violent pornography, which we all agree has very harmful effects on young people and can have a clear link to incidences of violent crime," Jónasson said, the Daily Telegraph reported. Banning porn in the remote country isn't so far fetched. The nation has already banned porn in print, but not on the web. "At the moment, we are looking at the best technical ways to achieve this. But surely if we can send a man to the moon, we must be able to tackle porn on the Internet," Halla Gunnarsdóttir, political adviser to the interior minister, told the Daily Mail. The move would make Iceland the first Western democracy to attempt to censor the Internet. About 320,000 people live in Iceland.
Top 3-Florida woman crashes car while being 'amorous': Police
A Florida woman crashed her car into a house early Friday morning while she and her boyfriend were "getting a little amorous" in the vehicle, police say. The car drove through two rooms in the unoccupied home near Daytona Beach at around 5:30 a.m. Friday, and the driver, a 30-year-old woman, was hit by debris and taken to hospital to be checked out, news station WESH reports. The boyfriend was uninjured. The woman, who has been charged with careless driving, told investigators that she and her boyfriend were being romantic before they crashed into the home on the suburban street. Mark says he first turned to inflatables when he was just 14, looking for the affection which he says he never got from his mother.
Top 1-Women could face jail if they expose their nipples in US state-Why they are doing this?
Women who wish to show their nipples in public in North Carolina may be prevented from doing so in the future after politicians proposed new legislation. Females exposing their breasts could soon be a thing of the past in the US state after representatives put forward House Bill 34 that would make it a felony to show the ‘nipple, or any portion of the areola, of the human female breast’.
One of the main cheerleaders of the new proposal and co-sponsor of the bill, is Republican representative Rayne Brown. He said: ‘There are communities across this state, there’s local governments across this state, and also local law enforcement for whom this issue is really not a laughing matter.’ A woman could be imprisoned for six months if they were to contravene the law but there would be exemptions for breast feeding. Rather unfairly, men would also be exempt from the law.
