Two people are in police custody following an unbelievable attempted jewelry store heist in El Paso, Texas.

Security camera footage shows 44-year-old Noemi Duchene and 45-year-old Luis Del Castillo arrive outside of Estate & New Jewelry late Tuesday morning with Del Castillo pushing Duchene in her wheelchair.

Duchene then gets out of her chair, covers her head and upper body with a large black trash bag and enters the jewelry store while Del Castillo waits with the chair.

Police are searching for a Ridley Township, Pa., resident who allegedly stole five leather coats from Kohl’s and fled the scene, leaving his 2-year-old daughter in the process. According to police, Andrew Surplus, 39, was stopped by a security guard outside the main doors of the store around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.Officer Keith Lockhart, who was on parking lot patrol, approached the two men when Surplus ran back into the store and escaped authorities, leaving his child behind.Lockhart gave chase while the guard stayed with the child.
