A British soldier reportedly served on the front lines in Afghanistan while she was seven months pregnant.Pte. Kayla Donnelly, 21, thought the changes to her body and weight gain were due to the stress of war, British newspaper The Sun reported Wednesday.

She was serving with the army in Helmand province — a Taliban stronghold where much of the fighting between NATO forces and insurgents has been taking place — from March to September, according to the newspaper.Donnelly gave birth to her son, Josh, two weeks after returning home, while on holiday, the newspaper reported. Promo stunt ends in arrests

Cops in Round Rock, Texas, responded to a 911 call Monday about a masked gunman at a Dell building, but instead found an internal promotional stunt gone terribly wrong.At 10:45 a.m., cops started receiving calls from frightened employees at the Dell building about a masked man, clad in black, waiving guns around and ushering people into the lobby.Police deemed it an “extreme risk” and sent in a SWAT team, co-ordinating their response with neighbouring police departments.When they showed up, the heavily armed officers encountered a man who identified himself as “management” and allegedly refused to comply with the cops' directions or give up the location of the masked man.

About 10 minutes later, officers found the culprit — wearing black clothes and a skull mask, and wielding “small metallic items,” which were not, in fact, guns. The masked man was supposed to get everyone to the lobby to announce the launch of a new Dell product. Police have charged Bryan A. Chester, 48, of Austin, Texas, with deadly conduct, a misdemeanour.

Belgians mark 'no-government world record with strip naked, free beer and chips

Belgians are staging a series of tongue-in-cheek events to mark what many there see as a new record - the world's longest wait for a government.

Belgium has been without a government for 249 days - longer than Iraq - as parties from the Dutch-speaking north and French-speaking south remain split.To mark the event, 249 people plan to strip naked in Ghent, and there will be free beer and chips in other cities.

Organisers hope the events will boost efforts to break the political impasse."We've had enough of political games," Kliment Kostadinov, one of the organisers, told the AFP.

"We must get a government fast and a reform of our institutions that is good for all Belgians."Johan Vande Lanotte, who resigned recently from the post of king's mediator with the task of ending the crisis, urged Belgium's political leaders not to give up on finding a solution.

Crocodile found in wandering in grass near the 50-metre pool

The reptile was nabbed on Tuesday night after a passer-by spotted it wandering in grass near the 50-metre pool at Splashez, the local swimming centre. ``I think it's safe to say it had a bit of help getting over the fence,'' proprietor Brian Rodriguez told AAP on Thursday. ``We turned all the floodlights on and we went searching with the police and it was found in the grass.'' Mt Isa police Inspector Paul Biggin said the croc was restrained and animal protection officers released it back into the wild. Like fish that get away, crocs have a habit of growing every time a yarn's retold. ``It seems to have grown in length with each report,'' Inspector Biggin said.

``The police who initially went there told me when they rounded it up it was about half a metre long,'' he said. ``I'm now hearing it's about 1.2, 1.5 metres long.
