SUDBURY, ONT. - It's OK to have fun during sex - even if God is watching, an Ontario priest says."I felt compelled to shed some light on the role that healthy, God-willed, God-given sex plays in the lives of married couples," Father Josef Niesyto said about his new book, Dieu au dortoir du couple, which translates to God in the bedroom.

Niesyto — who has worked in Toronto, Sault Ste. Marie and is currently in Sudbury — said the book is in response to the questions many people are asking about to the role that sexuality plays in their lives, and the role God plays in it all.

A Salt Lake City mother who tried to sell her 13-year-old daughter's virginity for $10,000 pleaded guilty to felony charges of sexually exploiting a minor, according to news reports. As part of a plea bargain, two felony counts of aggravated sex abuse of a child were dropped.

The woman, who is not being identified to protect her daughter, is to be sentenced Dec. 5 and could face up to 30 years in prison.

The Salt Lake prosecutor said she forced her daughter to model in a bra and thong for a man to whom she offered the girl's virginity for $10,000. She said her daughter would perform oral sex and other sex acts. She was also accused of sending photos of the girl in her underwear to another unidentified man in exchange for money.The mother's boyfriend found text messages on her phone detailing the negotiations and notified police. At the time of the mother's arrest in May, the authorities would not say whether police had identified the men.

The daughter told police she initially consented but later decided she didn't want to follow through, he said.

A surprise sweep of a Mexican prison turned up 19 prostitutes, 100 plasma televisions, two sacks of marijuana and two peacocks, the BBC reports.The check of the prison in Acapulco came as police prepared to transfer inmates to a maximum security jail.

The officers also found six female inmates living in the male section of the prison and 100 cockerels for cock fighting.

The 49-year-old, known only by her initials AMAM, plunged several feet into the void in the early hours on Saturday morning.She was only saved from smashing into the marble floor below after her right ankle became trapped between two bars as she fell.

She was left hanging inches from the ground - spared from sustaining a serious head injury - during the incident in the Adeje area on the Spanish resort island of Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands.  Cops are looking for suspects after a 101-year-old Georgia man was robbed of his wallet twice in three months.In the latest theft, the Savannah Morning News reports a man entered the senior's house in Savannah on Sunday while he slept and demanded his wallet. Edward Vaughn told police a man came into his bedroom at 2:40 a.m., and took off with his wallet.

Vaughn was not injured.On Aug. 7, Vaughn was going home from church on a bus when a man in his early 20s followed him, the newspaper reports.The suspect threw him to the ground and took his wallet, which contained $61.He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

LANCASTER, S.C. — Deputies in South Carolina say a woman used two hollowed-out Bibles to try to smuggle weapons, drugs and a cell phone to a prison inmate. Sheriff Barry Faile said Monday authorities began investigating 28-year-old Shareca Latoya Jones earlier this month after a package mailed to Lieber Correctional Institution was returned to a post office in Lancaster. Inside the package were two Bibles containing razor knives, a cell phone, ecstasy pills and more than 28 grams of cocaine.Deputies identified Jones as the person who mailed the package from a Kershaw post office. In her car, authorities found a loaded handgun, drugs, cell phones and cash.Jones is facing drug and contraband charges. She was released from jail on bond, and it wasn't known if she had an attorney. (MSNBC)
