"I think it's going to be all in fun from those who support the second amendment and those who don't," club member Richard Jones told the channel. "Whether you're a gun advocate or not, you should have a lot of fun with it."

How-Baby girl scalded during bath

A three-month-old girl was badly burned while being bathed by her mother Monday afternoon in what police are calling an accident.Police in Surrey, B.C., responded to a call around 12:30 Monday p.m. with a report of a baby scalded by hot water.

The mother had been giving the infant a bath in the bathroom sink of the basement apartment where the family lives, Cpl. Drew Grainger said. "The baby flailed and the hot water tap was turned on," he said.

The baby received second-degree burns to her torso and the lower part of her body. She was airlifted to hospital.

Investigators don't believe there was any suspicious activity involved.

"It has all the earmarks of an accident," Grainger said.

NOVEMBER 29--Police are investigating an Oklahoma elementary school teacher who hosted a tree trimming party at her home attended by several third graders whom the educator videotaped wearing Christmas-themed bras and panties she provided to the girls. In the face of a Shawnee Police Department probe, Kimberly Crain, 48, submitted her resignation as a third grade teacher at McLoud Elementary School. The resignation of Crain, pictured at right, was announced yesterday by school administrators.

The investigation of Crain began earlier this month when a parent told police that her daughter had been invited--along with other girls--to Crain’s residence for a pizza party. The child told her parents that “they dressed up in bras and panties and decorated the tree and ate pizza. Under questioning by her parents, the girl revealed that Crain “took photos of her and her friends decorating the tree,” and that some of the girls “made up a cheer dance and did it in the bra and panties while Crain videotaped them.”

According to a search warrant affidavit, Crain told the girls that, “she had something for them to change into” at her home. The bras and panties--imprinted with phrases like “Ho! Ho!”--were on a bed, and “Crain had all of the girls into the bedroom, one by one, and change into the bras and panties.” Two girls did not want to change into the bras, so they just wore a t-shirt with the panties, according to the affidavit. But “Crain told them that they needed to go put the bras on,” police reported.

A detective secured the warrant to search Crain’s residence for computer equipment, cell phones, digital storage devices, and other material.The affidavit reveals that, after cops began investigating the pizza party, another third grade student reported troubling behavior by Crain. The child reported that “Crain has all the kids in her class Skype over the computer with an older man wearing glasses named ‘Uncle G.’” The man is not further identified in the affidavit.( thesmokinggun.com)

Bad-Cops Summoned To Florida Elementary School after Girl Kisses Boy in Phys Ed Class

A sheriff’s deputy was dispatched last week to a Florida elementary school after a girl kissed a boy during a physical education class.

School brass actually reported the impromptu buss as a possible sex crime, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

The principal of Orange River Elementary School called in the cops after a teacher spotted the smooch Wednesday at the Fort Myers school. In fact, Margaret Ann Haring, 56, initially called child welfare officials, who directed her to contact the sheriff, according to a report.

The kiss apparently occurred after two girls debated over whom the boy liked more. That’s when one of the girls “went over and kissed” the boy. The redacted sheriff’s report notes that Haring “stated there were no new allegations of sexual abuse as far as she knew.”

Deputies do not appear to be further probing the preteen kiss. (Smokinggun)

Early Saturday morning, a deputy with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office spotted the 18-year-old Illinois woman’s car in a ditch off Route 71. “Upon further investigation,” the cop determined that Ornelas “was driving with no right front tire and was extremely intoxicated.”

According to a sheriff’s report, Ornelas offered an explanation, of sorts, for her erratic behavior:

“Ornelas advised that she was extremely upset with her boyfriend because she did not see the movie Twilight like they were suppose too.”

While missing a screening of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part I” can, understandably, put a fan into a tailspin, Ornelas’s excuse did not fly with cops, who charged her with DUI and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. An Australian man has been awarded $100,000 after he was wrongly accused of bringing drugs into the country in shampoo bottles, reports say.

Neil Parry was arrested in June 2010 at Darwin airport and charged with trafficking liquid Ecstacy in two bottles of Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner.

Parry spent three days behind bars before customs officials said the bottles contained no drugs, just shampoo and conditioner.

Customs and Border Protection officials admitted on Friday proper procedures were not followed when testing the hair products and apologized, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reports. (QMI)

STOCKTON - A Lincoln Unified School District teacher has been placed on paid leave amid allegations she was operating pornographic websites on a school computer with a Stockton police officer as her partner.District officials confiscated the school-issued Apple laptop of Heidi Kaeslin, a special-education teacher at Lincoln High, about one month ago. Kaeslin, 35, has been replaced by a long-term substitute teacher."We're conducting an investigation," Lincoln Unified Superintendent Tom Uslan said. "Absolutely no determination has been made whether disciplinary action will even be necessary. We make no conclusion at this stage."

Lincoln Unified has hired a computer expert to perform a forensic study of the laptop. A written report is expected this week, said attorney Chet Quaide, who is representing Lincoln Unified.Based on the report, Uslan will recommend to the Lincoln Unified board whether action - including possibly firing Kaeslin - is warranted. Action could come as soon as December's board meeting.The investigation centers around allegations Kaeslin and Richard Fields, 51, an officer assigned by the Stockton Police Department to Lincoln High, were using the computer to support several for-profit websites, most of them adult. Fields retired from the police force in May.

The sites include RandHentertainment.com, 360pig.com, teachertitties.com and mysluttyteachers.com."We learned of the allegation of potential misuse of the computer," Quaide said. "At that point we retrieved it."Kaeslin and her attorney declined to comment. Fields, who was a Stockton police employee when the alleged activities took place, admitted involvement in the pornographic sites.But, he said, he and Kaeslin never fully developed the sites; Kaeslin's involvement was limited and ultimately he abandoned the venture. He said the allegations are overblown. "When this is over, the record will show that she didn't do what they say," Fields said. "And that's going to come back and bite them."(Recordnet)

Cutler, a spokesman for the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, told the paper that Jafar Torkpour and Desmond McNeil's sweet gesture caused state police and fire and rescue units to rush to the correctional facility Friday.

Torkpour, in prison on a conviction of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, placed sugar inside an envelope with a letter telling his lady he is still “sweet on” her, Cutler told the paper.He said McNeil, who's serving time for third-degree robbery, put lemonade powder in his envelope with a letter reminding his sweetheart he's “still sweet enough” on her.

Unique-Man admits to burning cross to save marriage

In an unusual attempt to avoid a divorce with his white wife, a black man admitted to burning a cross on the driveway of their Panama City, Fla., home in a Klu Klux Klan-inspired plan, News Herald reports. LB Williams, 50, told police he wrote a note signed by the KKK, that his wife found taped to the house two days after the cross was set alight. His wife, who had filed for divorce, paraphrased the letter taped to the door of the house: "They were watching us. I assumed me and the kids, and that I better not leave that (N-word)," Donna Williams told the newspaper.

Williams said she found it unusual that the white supremacist group would support interracial marriages and called the cops. Initially, police launched a hate crimes investigation until LB Williams confessed on Monday, the paper reported, a few days after the cross was burned.

He is charged with domestic violence stalking and exhibits that intimidate.

CLEVELAND - After more than 20 years of renting chairs from other barbers, Gregory Burnett finally opened his own shop, but the down economy has been hard on the haircut business.

“It is one of the first things that people cut back on,” said Burnett, owner of Old School Barber Shop in Canton, Ohio. So two months ago Burnett put a sign in front of his place to let clients choose how much to pay. “Times are hard,” it read. “Pay what you can for a cut.”As Americans have struggled with haircuts of a different kind on the plummeting values of their homes, the idea was to draw in new patrons and help the clients who have been with him for decades, and it seems to be working. “People come in and want to take advantage of the deal,” Burnett said.

For the last two years Burnett has charged $12 for a man’s haircut, but recently has given one for as little as $5. “I tell people the haircut is free. The charge is for sitting in the chair,” he said.

Burnett said he hoped that a good haircut might mean a new job for one of his clients, and he liked the idea of helping people out. “I understand their troubles because I have their troubles,” he said. (Reuters)

NOVEMBER 17--A Georgia woman who criminal investigators suspect has spent years administering illegal silicone buttocks and hip injections to female clients--including strippers nationwide--was arrested last month by federal agents, according to court records.

Kimberly Smedley, 45, was busted at a Washington, D.C. hotel on October 11, six months after Food and Drug Administration (FDA) agents opened a criminal investigation targeting Smedley

At the time of Smedley’s arrest, federal investigators discovered “three 18 gauge medical needles” in one of her handbags. They also found a new text message--apparently from a D.C. woman--that stated, “wanna make an apt 4 my aunt an I want my hips done.” Smedley is pictured at right in a photo from her Facebook page. The FDA probe was opened after a Baltimore exotic dancer was hospitalized in March following the last of four silicone treatments by Smedley, according to a court affidavit sworn by FDA Agent Robert Ekey. The stripper, who had first received silicone injections in her buttocks and then her hips, told investigators that she had “heard through word of mouth from other exotic dancers of a woman who administered silicone injections” so that “customers…could have larger and fuller buttocks.”The stripper recalled that “Kim” assured her that “she used medical silicone for the injections.” The silicone, she told agents, was stored in an unmarked “water jug with a spigot.” For each injection, “Kim” poured the silicone “into a cup and from the cup Kim used a needle and syringe to draw the silicone which Kim injected into the buttocks.”The Baltimore woman told agents that she paid $1000 for each silicone injection, procedures that were performed on the bed in a room at the Renaissance Hotel. Two days after her final treatment in March, the stripper became ill and was treated at The Johns Hopkins Hospital for pneumonia. She was also diagnosed with fluid on her lungs. (smokinggun)

According to a local newspaper, Kura has been excreting stones from her right eye for the last two weeks but doctors are not sure what is causing the phenomenon. On average the young girl weeps between 12 to 25 stones a day. Nitya says she doesn't feel any pain but her right eye swells before the stones drop out. Her grandfather Gopal Reddy says he first noticed the strange happenings in October. 'Initially, we thought it was some divine power and prayed to God for this phenomenon to stop,' he told the Star online.
