The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after two people were filmed having sex while jumping out of a plane over Kern County, Calif. The video shows Alex Torres, a porn star who works weekends as a skydiving instructor at Skydive Taft, simultaneously skydiving and having sex with Hope Howell, a receptionist at the skydiving school.

Torres posted the video on his blog, and it proved to be a hit among local youth, until a police investigation forced him to take it down. "I didn't know it until one of the officers came over from the Taft Police Department and informed me this was going around the kids in school and stuff," Dave Chrouch, owner Skydive Taft, told KGET.com.

Parents called cops to complain about their kids sharing the explicit video. But Torres and Howell are safe from the law at the local level, at least. Lieut. Ed Whiting of the Taft Police Department told KGET that no charges are pending, as everyone in the video was of age. Since nobody complained about witnessing the stunt, there's no reason to charge the thrill-seeking duo with public nudity, he added. The FAA isn't so sure the stunt was on the up and up, though. Spokesman Ian Gregor said that while having sex on a private plane isn't technically illegal; any activity that distracts the pilot can constitute an FAA violation. Torres and Howell started having sex on the plane in the seat beside the pilot before jumping out in tandem.

Torres has since been sacked from his weekend gig, but Chrouch hasn't decided whether he will fire Howell as well.

"This shouldn't have happened. And it won't ever happen again, that's for sure," he said. (QMI)

A U.K.-wide study shows that one in six mobile phones in Britain have fecal matter on them on them.

What's more, 92% of cellphones are contaminated with bacteria. That can probably be explained by the fact that 82% of hands in Britain are as well, according to the study out of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and Queen Mary, University of London. The study, conducted to mark Global Handwashing Day, suggests Brits are fibbing about their hygiene habits. While experts say the high volume of bacteria is caused by people failing to wash their hands after they go to the bathroom, 95% of people surveyed said they always do. "People may claim they wash their hands regularly but the science shows otherwise," said Dr. Ron Cutler of Queen Mary, University of London.As well, 16% of hands and phones were contaminated with E. coli, fecal bacteria that can cause serious food poisoning. The sunny southern California city won the top spot in the Men's Health magazine list of America's 100 luckiest towns, with Baltimore, Phoenix, Wilmington in Delaware and Richmond, Virginia not far behind. "Luck is basically our modern world's magic," said David Zinczenko, editor in chief of the magazine. "People need to believe in luck because it allows them to give a name to the randomness of life, and when you name something, you have more power over it." To determine the most charmed towns the magazine analyzed data about cities with the most lottery and sweepstake winners, the most hole-in-ones on the golf course, the fewest lighting strikes, the least deaths from falling objects, and the lowest debt due to playing the lottery and race betting. "San Diego's multiple jackpot winners, its low lightning strike count, and its low number of lightning-related injuries and deaths helped push it to the top," Zinczenko said. CANTON, N.C. (KABC) -- It's right out of the movie "Nine to Five," but this story has a serious real-life ending.

Christina Webb, 21, an employee at a North Carolina Pizza Hut, apparently didn't like the way her manager was running things, so when the supervisor's back was turned, the worker put Visine drops in her drink. "I had nausea and vomiting for several days. I've had diarrhea. I've had chills. I haven't been able to eat. I ended up spending the day in the hospital," said the manager.

Dr. Marvin Williams of the Haywood Regional Medical Center said, like any other medication, ingesting enough of it can cause cardiac problems or death. Because the poisoning happened on the job, workers' compensation is paying for the manager's medical bills. Webb is facing a felony charge for distributing noxious material. (NBC)

Wang, who'd just been dumped by his girlfriend, kept police and rescuers in Chengdu, southern China, at bay for more than three hours as he gulped down alcohol. Despite repeated pleas, he refused to come down and continued to drown his sorrows.
