Wow-Officials send condoms to flood-ravaged Area
Fun in flood time….
Condoms are desperately needed in flood-ravaged areas of Thailand because "villagers have nothing to do," officials say.
An unnamed official with the Emergency Medical Institute of Thailand told AFP medicine and other provisions are being sent to the central province of Lop Buri after the worst flood in decades. "Local volunteers told us that villagers have nothing to do during the floods, so to prevent a baby boom we added condoms too," the official said. The government says at least 244 people have been killed in floods in Thailand since mid-July, Reuters reported. (QMI)

What-Ontario teachers college official resigns over teen erotica
What was he writing…?
The book is available on amazon.com and sells for $19.95 with the tag line: "The most controversial teen novel that will change your life forevermore." Tremblay has defended the book, claiming it is meant to empower teens and encourage them to resist peer pressure. He was elected to the College's council in 2004 and named chairman of the discipline committee in 2006.
In the years before and after his novel was published in 2008, Tremblay has presided over countless cases dealing with teachers abusing the trust of students. He has also had a hand in determining his colleagues' innocence or guilt and doling out punishments.
A spokesman for the College was unable to say if Tremblay, who is a teacher himself, will be investigated. "We are unaware of any material in his book that has been drawn from discipline hearings," Brian Jamieson said. (QMI)
