Police say a nearly naked woman led officers on a car chase that reached speeds of 200 km/h before she finally surrendered. The chase happened along Route 422 in Bainbridge, just east of Cleveland, and only came to a stop when police laid spikes across the road to puncture her tires, reports the local Fox channel. When police apprehended her, they discovered she was wearing nothing but a sheer bustier, a G-string and sneakers, the report said. She was cuffed and put in the back of a police car, where she allegedly hurled abuse at officers

Whether thieves returned the cremated ashes of a baby girl out of conscience or clumsiness matters not. An Australian family has their precious urn back after it was found a few blocks from their house in Brisbane, reports the Courier Mail.

The ashes of the child, who died at just 10 days old, were taken when the home was burglarized Thursday.

The mother, identified only as Monica, 55, made an appeal for their return."We lost her in 1995 ... we've always carried her ashes with us. It was my husband and I's (sic) only child," she told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

The urn was later found on a nearby street.

Mr Bowman - whose farm in Lincolnshire is the largest supplier of pumpkins in Europe - grew the fruit using a special mould and a seed variety called, appropriately, Cinderella.The pumpkins are on display at the Paris theme park as part of its Halloween Festival this weekend.

‘They’ve turned out well but, because they are such an unusual shape, people think they’re fake,’ Mr Bowman said.

'We have had a few challenges because of the bad summer this year but we've grown a good Mickey crop.

It's great that the rest of the world will now get to enjoy them.'The unusual crop was created using specially designed moulds which were fitted to the pumpkins while they were in the early stages of growth, and then left until the crop grew and ripened from green to orange.

Great-grandmother Diane Taylor wanted to buy a bottle of whisky for her son but was asked for photo ID.

She said: “It seemed so stupid I thought the cashier was complimenting me. “But then I realised that she was being serious so I pulled out my bus pass, my blood donor’s card but it was no good.( mirror.co.uk)
