Nice-Woman tried to cook meth in Walmart

A woman arrested for shoplifting in a Missouri Walmart decided to cook up some meth while she was being held by store security Thursday, police said. The 32-year-old woman was caught with cosmetics in her purse Thursday evening, police told the website STLToday.com. While she was being held by store security, the woman allegedly used a 20-ounce pop bottle to concoct a "one pot" batch of methamphetamine. St. Louis County police Lt. Mark Cox told the website the store had to be evacuated because meth production is unstable and could have caused a fire or an explosion. He added the trend of cooking small quantities of meth for personal use is on the rise. "There are lots of one-pot cooks," Cox said. "But taking it into Walmart is very unusual." Police said the woman has not been charged while lab tests are done on the items seized by officers. He noted the woman was not suspected of trying to steal any of the ingredients to make meth; the cooking had started before she'd entered the Walmart.
 Truth or Lie-Bieber Fever infectious
Bieber Fever is "perhaps the most infectious disease of our time" and can only be stopped with negative media attention, a new University of Ottawa study says. It spreads through contact with "infected individuals" and media exposure, and is more infectious than measles, the researchers said. The study by Valerie Tweedle and Robert J. Smith? calls Bieber Fever — an obsession with Canadian pop star Justin Bieber — "a novel infectious disease." It uses mathematical formulas to show how the Baby hitmaker's popularity has and could change, while also discussing biological impacts of becoming infected. "Bieber
Fever has similar properties to other infectious diseases, such as a rapid rate of transmission in large populations, eventual recovery and debilitating scarring (in the form of inappropriate tattoos of Justin Bieber's name/face). Symptoms include uncontrollable crying and/or screaming, excessive purchasing of memorabilia, making poor life choices (e.g. copycat hairstyles), and distraction from everyday life," the study

says. It notes similar strains have arisen in the past for boy bands, such as New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys. "Negative media can rein in oversaturation, but continuous negative media (the Lindsay Lohan effect) is the only way to end Bieber Fever," the study's abstract says, noting media coverage can abruptly turn negative, such was the case for Lohan and pop singer Britney Spears. "The only methods to help control the spread of infection are to publish more negative media stories about him than positive, such as involving him in a sex scandal or exploit his bad haircut choices and increasing the number of times those negative stories appear in the media." As well, infected individuals can recover from Bieber Fever by losing interest in the singer, or "maturing beyond the age of 17," the study says. "Eradicating Bieber Fever presents significant challenges, involving both local and media-driven events. It might be unlikely to happen in practice, but never say never," the study says.

Why-A man accused of taking nude photos of ex-wife

Not a good idea-Parent gets back at school official with porn site

A disgruntled Higley parent who wanted to get back at his son's assistant principal has been convicted of two felonies after starting a fake profile on a pornographic website under the assistant principal's name.Robert Dale Esparza Jr., 34, was upset that his then

13-year-old son had his iPod confiscated at Gateway Pointe Elementary School last year, and blamed Assistant Principal Frank Hendricsen.Hendricsen, who is now the school's interim principal in the Higley Unified School District, denied taking the iPod, which was never found, said Dennis Ogorchock, a detective with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Computer Crimes Unit.
According to Ogorchock, Esparza retaliated by starting a fake profile on a pornographic website under Hendricsen's name in May 2011. The profile used photos from the school website, including pictures of Hendricsen's wife. Esparza posted lewd body photos supposedly of Hendricsen and attached more than 20 pornographic videos to the profile.Esparza also chatted on the site under Hendricsen's name, and started an e-mail address under Hendricsen's name. Esparza's goal was to be active on the site so when someone searched online for Hendricsen's name, the porn site would come up, Ogorchock said. 'm sure this guy (Esparza) felt that it was funny, thought it was a joke," Ogorchock said. "He definitely could have damaged this guy's (Hendricsen's) reputation and his job prospects."
