What happen-Music fan finds sex shop charges on bank statements?

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — Classical music fans were not amused when purchases made at a recent Sault Symphony Orchestra fundraiser appeared on bank statements as being made at a city sex shop. About $1,100 in purchases, including food and silent auction

items won, were made during Music fest using a debit machine that was loaned to the symphony by Amore. The business sells adult DVDs, lingerie and sex toys. It’s owned by Betts MacKenzie, a symphony board member. “We never had a debit machine before so were really happy to have one this time around,” said Robin Wilson, the symphony’s co-ordinator of projects, programs and grants. “We’re too poor to be able to afford one and all the fees involved with it.” It “never really entered our minds” that banking statements would list Amore as the purchase point, Wilson said. “It was quite a shock to us when people seemed to be upset by this,” she said. Wilson said the business has been receiving a lot of negative publicity and wanted to set the record straight that MacKenzie was just trying to help the symphony at their June 10 event.
Why-Swedish council member wants men to urinate sitting down

Men who work for the county council in the Swedish province of Sormland could be required to sit down while urinating, if a motion put forward by the Left Party passes. The party is taking a stand against men standing up to urinate for two reasons: the first is

hygiene, the second is medical research they say shows men empty their bladders more efficiently when seated, The Local newspaper reports. The seated-urination motion applies to toilets in the office bathrooms at the Sormland County Council and the Left Party proposed that, as a first step, dedicated standing toilets be labelled as such for men who refuse to sit while they pee, The Local reported. Viggo Hansen, a Left Party member and substitute member on council who's responsible for the proposal, is pushing the idea because he wants the office toilets to be genderless. Hansen insists the motion isn't a form of political meddling in people's urination preferences. "That's not what we're doing. We want to give men the option of going into a clean toilet," he told Sveriges Television.

Just hours after saying "I do," an Austrian groom was caught doing it with a waitress at his wedding reception. To make matters worse, the boozed-up 27-year-old was busted by his father-in-law, according to the Austrian Times. The father-in-law had gone looking for the frisky groom in the kitchen where the wedding reception was being held in Feldkirch, Austria, and found his newly minted son-in-law having sex with a waitress. The Times reports that the father of the bride immediately halted the celebration and sent all the guests home. The bride is hoping for a quickie divorce from her horny husband.

Rag to Rich-Homeless Man to Keep $77,000 He Found on Riverbank

A bath in a river unexpectedly propelled one homeless Texas man from rags to riches — $77,000 of them. Timothy Yost, 46, has been allowed to keep the bag of cash and coins he found on a riverbank in January, after nobody else claimed it from the cops, the Austin American-Statesman reported. The city council of Bastrop, Texas, voted unanimously to give him back his life-changing find, after a city attorney told the council that a police investigation found no indication it had been involved in crimes.Yost had told cops he was walking down the banks of the Colorado River to wash his feet on Jan. 18 when he came upon a bag.He said he kicked it, heard jangling and then opened it to find 70 damp $100 bills and 40 Krugerrands, collectible South African gold coins. Very very tough-Daredevil sets new world record after amazing tightrope walk

While most of us celebrate our birthdays by blowing out candles, or with a nice meal, this stuntman has far loftier ambitions. The 24-year-old set the record for tightrope walking across the open water after completing the challenge in GrĂ¼ner See Alpine lake, Austria. He inched along 222m (728ft) of rope without a harness as his girlfriend

Elizabeth Hochlahme watched from a boat below.’ I did actually fall in the lake a couple of times and the shock knocks the breath out of you because it is so cold, it's straight off the mountains,' he said after the astonishing feat.  'It was pretty cold outside too about 5C and actually the water was a bit warmer around 6C, but it was still not good to fall in.
