The thumb drive Josue Rivera, 38, gave a Bridgeport funeral director to play at a service was supposed to be a memorial slideshow of the person who had passed away. Instead, it contained dozens of images of child pornography, according to the U.S. Marshal Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force. They arrested Rivera of Bridgeport on Tuesday and charged him with first-degree possession of child pornography. The arrest comes almost 10 months after an employee of Luz de Paz Funeral Home reviewed the drive, saw it was no memorial tribute and called Bridgeport police, the Connecticut Post reports. Police seized Rivera’s home computer and found as many as 153 files they believe are child pornography depicting 35 children, including three videos, the Post reports.

And that isn't the end to Ivan's unusual talents.According to his family Ivan has also used his 'healing' hands to alleviate his grandfather's stomach pains and take away the pain of a neighbour who hurt his leg in a tractor accident.
Ivo, Ivan's grandfather, said when his grandson laid his hands on his stomach they became extremely hot and the pain simply went away. If that wasn't enough, Ivan, it is also claimed, is much stronger than other children his age and is able to easily carry bags of cement as heavy as 50lbs.

Real-'Batman' arrested for hanging off roof


Police were called to a hardware store in downtown Pekoskey, Mich., early Wednesday after a passerby spotted Batman on the roof. Officers were called shortly before 1 a.m., and found a man dressed in a Batman costume hanging off the side of the building, holding on to the roof with his hands, said Chief John Calabrese of the community's public safety department. Officers went onto the roof and brought the man up with them.







Bad-German man accused of shooting neighbour's frogs


German man will be in court Thursday after his neighbour's frogs croaked for the last time before being shot during mating season. The newspaper Rheinische Post reports last July, a 47-year-old man allegedly shot two of his neighbour's pond frogs with an air gun around One of the frogs died instantly, while the other died the next day.
The two men involved in the Froggy fight lived in the same housing complex in Krefeld, a small city near the country's western border. Both men have gardens and ponds, but only the one man had frogs. He says they moved there on their own from a nearby wetland. On July 1, the frogs began to croak, an annual occurrence that is part of mating season.
"I heard the shooting at night and knew immediately what was going on," Andreas van Straelen, 45, said of his frogs.

Lucky-Man compacted in garbage truck, but survives


A homeless man was compacted two or three times before his screaming caught the attention of the garbage truck driver, said firefighters who helped pull him from the truck. “The trash truck driver could see this persons feet just hanging out the bottom of the can,” said Scott Cockrum, Assistant Chief for the Sacramento Metro Fire Department.

Strange-Would-be cannibal arrested after gunbattle in Slovakia


BRATISLAVA, Slovakia — Police in Slovakia say they've foiled a bizarre case of attempted cannibalism after shooting a man who allegedly planned to kill and eat a Swiss citizen he met online. The suspect, whose identity was not released, was shot five times in a gunbattle with officers on Tuesday, police said. A police officer also was injured.Investigators say the suspect used the Internet to search for a person who wanted to commit suicide or be killed and would agree to let him eat the body. A Swiss man initially agreed but later changed his mind and informed authorities, police said.
"He (the Swiss citizen) wanted to die, and agreed to have his body quartered and subsequently consumed by a person whose identity we did not know," Interior Minister Daniel Lipšic told media at a briefing, The Slovak Spectator reported.
An undercover officer who pretended to be the would-be victim agreed to meet the suspect near Kysak on Tuesday, as agreed, police said.
