Top 4-Student's flash photo exposes yearbook prank –very bad for career

LONDON, Ont. -- A former London Catholic high school student's flash photo shocked students and staff when they cracked open their shiny new yearbooks. In a photo of the news team at Mother Teresa secondary school, the group that produces the morning announcements, one student decided to flash more than his pearly whites for the camera -- choosing, instead, to unzip his pants and show off his genitals. Not aware the yearbook contained any nudity; staff handed out copies at the school of about 1,300 students last Friday.

Top 3-Christmas display depicting Santa as a hunter with a bleeding deer

Missouri family is raising eyebrows with a Christmas display depicting Santa as a hunter with a bleeding deer hanging by its hooves. Stacie Kurtz -- whose father created the display as part of the family's traditional "Gawdy Christmas" theme at their Arnold home -- said the image of Santa holding a rope attached to the hanging deer in lights is supposed to depict a "Santa who went hunting," KTVI-TV, St. Louis, Mo., reported Tuesday.  "We live in Jefferson County. We`re a hunting a community. You see the real ones hanging from people`s garage after they've gotten their big kill of the season. So what's so wrong about a fake one?" Kurtz said. Neighbors who said they found the display in poor taste asked not to be identified so as not to be compared to Dr. Seuss' "Grinch."

Top 2-Women spend more time ogling women –Very strange results

BRISTOL, England, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- British researchers say women are more likely than men to give women's bodies a visual once-over. Researchers at Bristol University came to their conclusions after asking volunteers to examine a range of different images, including pictures of couples in films, The Daily Telegraph reported Friday. They found women spent 61 percent of their time looking at the women in the pictures, and only 39 percent on the men, while men seemed to spend just over half -- 53 percent -- of their time looking at the women."This is counter-intuitive from a sexual perspective if you are thinking about desire, but it's not surprising if you look at it in terms of sexual competition," said Felix Mercer Mos, a computer science doctoral student who led the study. "The women might be checking out their sexual rivals and comparing themselves with them."He noted: "That's speculation of course -- I've no proof whatsoever." The study also found that while men concentrated on the faces of the women, women's eyes tended to roam around the whole figure. Kate Figes, author of books on relationships, said she wasn't surprised by the study's findings.
We are always sizing ourselves up against the competition," she said. "It's because we feel threatened. It's quite a basic animal state. I'm sure if the gender states were reversed, men would do exactly the same."
