Wow-Mummified body of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman star Yvette Vickers found
THE mummified remains of an ex-Playboy model who played the lead in the cult movie Attack Of The 50-Foot Woman have been found in her rundown Hollywood home. The state of the remains suggests that Yvette Vickers, 82, may have lain there for a year.
Police found the badly decomposed corpse at the home where Vickers had lived for decades.
They were called after neighbours noticed fanmail piling up in her letter box and cobwebs around the doorway, the Los Angeles Times reported.
It is feared Vickers died alone and that her body had lain in the house for up to a year based on the level of decomposition.
Neighbour Susan Savage said the find was upsetting. "To the end she still got cards and letter from all over the world requesting photos and still wanting to be her friend," she said.
