Wow-Sex with wife leads to scientific breakthrough

The study, published in Emerging Infectious Diseases, describes three anonymous patients: Patients 1 and 2 are scientists who travel to southeastern Senegal. Patient 3 is patient 1's wife.In an interview with Science magazine; lead author Brian Foy of Colorado State University admitted he is patient 1. His PhD student, Kevin Kobylinski, is patient 2. His wife, Joy Chilson Foy, a nurse and co-author of the study, is patient 3.According to the report, Foy and Kobylinski travelled to Senegal in 2008 to research malaria. As a part of that research, the pair collected mosquitoes in the village of Bandafassi. They were bitten countless times. When they returned, they both experienced similar symptoms -- rashes on their torsos, fatigue, headaches, light-headedness, chills and swollen joints.Foy was even worse off, also experiencing pain when he urinated and finding blood in his semen.Shortly after, his wife got sick too. She had chills, malaise, headaches, light sensitivity and muscle pain.It turns out, and all three had Zika virus, which is carried by mosquitoes, mostly in African countries. But Joy Chilson Foy had not been to Africa and her chances of getting the disease at home are next to impossible."Circumstantial evidence suggests direct person-to-person, possibly sexual, transmission of the virus," the report concludes."Furthermore, patients 1 and 3 reported having vaginal sexual intercourse in the days after patient 1 returned home but before the onset of his clinical illness. It is reasonable to suspect that infected semen may have passed from patient 1 to patient 3 during coitus."

Different-Kate Middleton's face found on jelly bean

Kate Middleton and Wesley Hosie's jelly bean
25-year-old trainee accountant claims to have made an unbelievable discovery – the face of Prince William's bride-to-be Kate Middleton on a jelly bean. Wesley Hosie came across the unique bean while enjoying a jar of jelly beans with his girlfriend Jessica.
Mr Hosie said he immediately noticed Kate’s facial features on the jelly bean as well as her long dark hair. ‘As Jessica opened the jar, I saw her immediately. She was literally lying there staring back at me,’ he said. ‘Given that the royal wedding is only a few weeks away, we hope to make a few pounds out of it by selling it on the internet to a collector.’ Mr Hosie is now planning on selling the jelly bean on eBay for £500.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are due to get married at Westminster Abbey on April 29. British workers have been handed an extra bank holiday to celebrate the ceremony, with thousands of people expected to line the streets in central London to watch the royal procession pass and hundreds watching events unfold on big screens in Hyde Park.
Good-China bans time travel on TV and at the cinema

Back to the future

The Broadcasters and programme makers will have to tread carefully after the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (Sarft) issued a warning about the way shows were treating the past. 'Many stories are totally made up and are made to strain for an effect of novelty. The producers and writers are treating serious history in a frivolous way, which should by no means be encouraged any longer,' Li Jingsheng, head of television drama at Sarft, said.It has been stressed that the censorship is not an outright ban but rather a clamping down, which means programme makers will have to adhere to stricter rules.Professor Nie Wei, of the School of Movie and Television Drama Studies, at Shanghai University, told the Guardian scripts for popular drama The Palace, which is about a 21st century girl who is sent back to the Qing dynasty, are being rewritten in time for the next series.
