THE Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were presented with a rare coconut famed for its erotic shape while on honeymoon in the Seychelles. The unusual souvenir was presented to William and Kate by the Seychelles foreign minister after their 10-day stay on the north island.A spokeswoman for Jean Paul Adam said the newlyweds were given the gift just before they flew home. The famous coco-de-mer, from a palm tree once believed to grow in the depths of the sea, is the largest seed in the plant kingdom and is endemic to the islands of Praslin and Curieuse in the Seychelles, according to Unesco.Legend has it that sailors, who first saw the unique double coconut floating in the sea, imagined that it resembled a woman's disembodied buttocks.

A fugitive sought as a suspect in a 1998 murder case was looking for love when he appeared on a Chinese dating game show earlier this year. But he likely was not looking to be recognized by a viewer and arrested by police after a month-long investigation. But Hao, whose real name is Wu Gang, also earned the attention of a viewer who thought he looked a lot like the suspect linked to the 1998 murder of a 24-year-old man in China's Jilin Province, Xinhua reported.X Li Ang, a police officer in Jilin, told Xinhua that although Wu's appearance has changed since the murder, his "soft features" gave him away.After a month-long investigation, Wu was arrested in Shenyang, the capital city of Heilongjiang Province, where the show is filmed, Xinhua reported.

Surprise-Two men arrested for pretending to get arrested




Ryan Letchford and Jeffrey Olsen thought it would be funny to break into the van and take pictures of each other in custody.

But the prank took a turn for the worse when the van locked with the jokers still inside.According to police in the US, a third man, who was also drunk, found his friends in the back of the van after leaving a nearby party to search for them, but he was unable to set them free and was forced to call 911.

Radnor constable Mike Connor told the Philadelphia Daily News: 'I came down and unlocked the doors, and "Dumb and Dumber" pranced out of the van. They looked a little embarrassed.'

Why-Florida teen allegedly killed parents, then threw house party





A Florida teen is accused of killing his parents and hosting a house party afterwards with at least 40 friends, local media report. The Port St. Lucie teen, 17, has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bail, ABC reports. The boy allegedly killed his parents with a framing hammer before stashing their bodies in the master bedroom and having a party. The teen posted a party invitation on Facebook at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, police told ABC. Later, at about 10 that night, between 40 and 60 friends showed up at the house. Police were called to the neighbourhood for noise complaints at about 2:30 a.m., but didn't notice anything unusual, ABC reported. Hours later, however, they received a tip that the teen had killed his parents. t 4:20 a.m., police returned to the house, where they found "beer cups lying around the house" and the teen, who seemed "nervous and panicky," Port St. Lucie Police Capt. Don Kryak said.


Lesson-Mail fail leads to jail




A mailman in England who stashed 31,000 parcels because he was too drunk to deliver them will spend time in jail.Steve Tasker, of Burnley, just north of Manchester, admitted to interfering with mail, damage and theft, reports the Telegraph newspaper.The 43-year-old Tasker said he meant to deliver all that mail one day. That's why he stored it in his home and his backyard shed over a period of three and a half years.According to the paper, postal officials put Tasker under surveillance last September after receiving complaints from people who weren't getting their mail. One day, they saw him start work around noon and knock off at 2 p.m. with more than 300 pieces of mail undelivered.
