Weird-Workers' compensation Claim after being injured while having sex on a business trip

A PUBLIC servant injured while having sex with an acquaintance at a motel while on a work trip was entitled to compensation, a judge has been told. The woman's barrister, Leo Grey, said sex was ``an ordinary incident of life'' commonly undertaken in a motel room at night, just like sleeping or showering. The woman, who cannot be named, is challenging the rejection of her workers' compensation claim for facial and psychological injuries suffered when a glass light fitting came away from the wall above the bed as she was having sex in November 2007.In the Federal Court in Sydney yesterday, Mr Grey said the woman's employer had sent her to spend the night at a NSW rural motel ahead of a departmental meeting. Andrew Berger, for ComCare, said sex was not``an ordinary incident of an overnight stay like showering, sleeping or eating''.Justice John Nicholas described the case as ``by no means easy'' and is yet to deliver his finding.

Idea-Free Pot for registering to vote

A medical marijuana shop's offer of free pot in exchange for registering to vote appears to have gone up in smoke.  Healthy Choice Clinic of Lansing, Mich., had been offering a half gram on its website ahead of a vote for city council seats and after the council approved capping the number of medical marijuana dispensaries within city limits and setting a $1,000 application fee.Clinic owner Shekina Pena earlier said she wasn't trying to buy votes. "We really got to fight to get the voters out there because the polls are showing there's 4-5,000 people in Lansing that are patients or caregivers," she told NBC affiliate WILX TV. "So we need those 4-5,000 people to come forth to the polls and vote for whomever they feel is in support of what they want for access." "We let them know how we feel, we don't tell them who to vote for," she added. "We definitely want to support the ones (city council members) who are supporting us."On Wednesday, the state's attorney general, at the prodding of a state senator, said he was looking into whether the clinic crossed a legal line.

Casas admitted to sneaking a taco into the jail in December 2009, but denied that a hacksaw blade was inside its shell.

Wow-World's longest motorbike can accommodate 25 riders

world's longest bike Colin Furze

Measuring an incredible 22 metres (72ft) long, the converted 125cc scooter took a month build and can carry up to 25 people on board. Colin Furze, 31, assembled it in his mum's backyard in attempt to gain another Guinness World Record. The Linconshire plumber already holds the record for the fastest mobility scooter, which he built and designed to hit a remarkable 71mph.

To set the record he took the behemoth to the Saltby Airfield in Granthan and rode it for a mile along the runway hitting a top speed of 35mph. 'When I first got on it I thought it would never work and at a slow speed it's almost impossible to keep upright,' explained Collin after the stunt.'But once you get going it becomes a bit easier, although it is a real strain on your arms as it has such heavy steering.'It wobbled a huge amount as I drove along and apparently the back of the bike was weaving around all over the place.
