in San Diego, Calif., on Wednesday morning. Corona, a student at University of California San Diego, said she tried everything to find her dog, from calling the pound to contacting a pet psychic. The only other option was to wear her bikini in the 50-degree weather and not eat until she finds the dog, Corona said in an email. How-Dad claims twins came from sperm stolen by ex-girlfriend

A Houston man has launched a unique court battle, claiming his twin sons resulted from his sperm being stolen and taken to a Houston fertility clinic without his knowledge, KPRC, NBC's Houston station, reported on Tuesday.

"Actually, I couldn't believe it could be done.  I was very, very devastated," said Joe Pressil, a 36-year-old telecommunications manager.

"I couldn't believe that this fertility clinic could actually do this without my consent, or without my even being there," he told KPRC.

Pressil said he hadn't considered having a family, and his religious beliefs would never allow him to visit a fertility clinic or participate in any form of artificial insemination. Yet three months after he broke up with his girlfriend, she became pregnant with his sperm at the Advanced Fertility Center of Texas on the Katy Freeway near Beltway 8. .(msnbc)

Woman abducted from sex shop

Mounties are hunting for a suspect after a Kamloops, B.C., woman was abducted Wednesday afternoon from a sex shop where she works.

The 39-year-old woman turned up at a home in Westmount, B.C., at about 9:30 p.m., RCMP said.An ambulance took her to hospital. Police haven't released details about the extent of her injuries.Friends called police when they couldn't find the woman at work and noticed the front door was unlocked with her personal belongings left behind, reports local broadcaster CFJC TV7.

RCMP found the woman's pickup truck, which was used in her abduction, early Thursday, the station reports.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. — Squirrels chewing on power lines may have started a fire that destroyed a home in this southern Ontario city, officials say.The fire at 5 a.m. Thursday saw flames shoot more than 30 feet in the air. The fire caused the roof of the single family home to collapse.

There was no one in the St. Catharines home at the time of the fire.

Sonya Thomas, who weighs in at 105 lbs., gobbled 5.25 lbs. of poultry in 10 minutes, reports the New York Daily News. Six rivals were no match for the diminutive diner, not even the 400-lb. world-record holder for pumpkin pie eating, Eric Booker.

This is not Thomas' first competitive-feasting feat. Her tiny frame belies an impressive bottomless pit of a stomach that has led her to 38 world records, including 53 Taco Bell soft tacos in 12 minutes. She calls herself The Black Widow because she wants to "eliminate the males," she says on her website sonyatheblackwidow.com.

In Alyse Bradley's case, the answer was simple: to sell her Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3-playing husband to the highest Craigslist bidder. "Easy to maintain, just feed and water every 3-5 hours," says the ad on the Free Stuff section of Craiglist. "He enjoys eating and playing video games all day," adds Alyse. This Utah resident posted the ad merely as a joke, as her 22-year-old husband Kyle Bradley couldn't be separated from COD: MW3 since the game's release last November 8. As a soldier who just got back home from Afghanistan after an injury, Kyle says that playing COD: MW3 was his way of touching base with his Army buddies.

Alyse got a handful of replies to her ad, with a few people voicing concern over the couple's marriage, while a few men even offered to replace Kyle as a husband. "I've had a couple personal ads for men saying, oh I'm housebroke, I'm trained, I'll trade him places," a bemused Alyse said in an interview. Kyle was a good sport over his wife's apparent willingness to trade him, as it was all done in jest. "She supported me when I got the game. It's just funny."
