Researchers at South Korea's Rural Development Administration are looking at developing a 'Kiss Apple', which can freshen up breath before a romantic encounter, Reuters reported.

Police in Illinois have seized an alligator from a man who was keeping the animal as a pet to attract women.

The Cook County Sheriff's Office officials said they received information a man was keeping an American alligator in confined conditions in his home. Police located the four-foot alligator in a fish tank in the kitchen. A video of the alligator showed it swimming in the tank, which was under a heatlamp. The man told police he bought the alligator in Indiana, Ill., five years ago for $200. "He stated that he kept the alligator as a pet because it attracted women," police said in a release. "In order to keep the size of the alligator down, Yarbrough kept it in a small tank, and only fed it once a month - a meal of 10 live mice."

The Apple store in Beijing reopened Sunday after a riot sent four people to hospital.

The fracas began after a "foreign" Apple employee tried to intervene when there were reports of people jumping the line for the iPad 2 and he may have grabbed some people, the Beijing News reported. People had been waiting in line for hours at the store to buy the tablet Saturday morning.After the employee left the area, a front door was smashed. Once the crowd was cleared, police officers stood guard until it was fixed, the newspaper reported.One of the injured men said the employee "suddenly grabbed my collar" and he was thrown into the wall, causing his mouth to bleed and a pain in his lower back.

One South Florida son's behavior toward his mom probably wouldn't be described as good to the last drop.

Brandon Scott Quintana, 19, was taken to jail after he allegedly got physical with his mom because she drank his Starbucks iced coffee, TCPalm.com reported. The Port St. Lucie resident is charged with battery for the incident earlier in the week, just days before Mother's Day.Starbucks is delicious, but not "so good, it will make you wanna slap yo mama" delicious. That didn't stop Quintana from crying over spilled coffee.

The spat started when Quintana's 43-year-old mom woke up from a nap with a parched throat. She saw her son's Starbucks in the refrigerator and probably thought it was safe to drink.
